WhatsApp's users can now communicate on their phones using the WhatsApp application. In addition to text messages, users are able to send files and pictures in real time, which allows users to respond to instant messages with quick responses. What is WhatsApp?

WhatsApp was founded by Facebook in 2012, with the main purpose being to offer free voice and video calling services to its users to communicate with friends. They were not successful at first, but later developed more features along with the introduction of group messaging. In 2017, they launched Instagram and Snapchat, which became quite popular among teenagers and adults. By 2019, it had 4 billion users worldwide, accounting for 8.5 percent of the total population the world. As of 2016, WhatsApp had 10.4 billion, 5 million daily active users, and its user retention rate came up to 80%.

Key Features and functionalities

Caller ID – Once you register, your phone automatically generates a unique identifier called the "Caller ID". This ID allows you to contact others via regular calls or short messages. It is also used to identify a person, no matter who sent the call. Caller ID is based upon the number dialed, so it should only be used once for a person. To change your Caller ID, follow these steps: Open WhatsApp, select Settings > Account > Personal information > Click Change Caller ID > Now restart WhatsApp.

Actions button to access other apps – On the home screen, click on an app icon to open the App Store, open it, right-click on it, and tap on Download to start installing. From there, if you want to download some other apps on your computer, you can install them from there too, with just one simple step of opening WhatsApp.

Status bar – You will find several important options here: Edit Status, receive status, Set status, Read status, update status, Delete status, report status, Hide status, Customize my activity (add to contacts), and much more.

Status display system – This function allows you to visualize the current status on the mobile screen or a desktop window. You can see any notification while scrolling down or left. Any notification will be displayed along with your name and an emoji.

After adding a comment as well as creating a link, go to Share Link and paste the URL into the dialogue box without touching your keyboard.

Add animated GIFs/videos - Create animated GIFs/videos by changing the animation duration. For example, the GIF below shows how long I've been looking for the next date, but only halfway. If you preferred to play the GIF and watch it, just keep going! If you notice anything wrong, change the settings.

Add multiroom sharing - Your iPhone connects to two different local accounts to share content across multiple rooms. The same can happen with WhatsApp. Just enter your phone's details to switch accounts and set up an account. Then, you can easily share different items from your account in different areas. A shared video clip can be included in another chat.

Message in the chat

Message types - All messages type can be changed at the bottom of the home screen. So you only need to type a single word. Only type an emoji if you do not want to hear what you are saying.

The message body, Message head, and Message bubble text - The message body contains all the data you have entered, and it is limited to 140 characters. The message head is located at the top of the conversation button and displays the type of message. Bubble text is a part of the text to show how many times you have typed it.

Message notifications - We automatically turn off unnecessary notifications and save your privacy. Also, we notify you of incoming messages.
