10 Instagram Tips for Writers

1. Utilize Hashtags Carefully Using hashtags allows non-followers to see your Instagram posts. You are free to use any number of hashtags in your post; however, if you use more than 30, Instagram will completely delete your caption. To avoid this, keep your hashtag usage to under 30.


The hashtag #bookstagram is a good place to start if you want to find the hashtags your readers are using. Find authors whose books are similar to yours and copy their writing hashtags if nothing else.
