Treasure of Qarun - قارون کا خزانہ
There was a very rich person in the people of Hazrat Musa, his name was Qarun. He had so much wealth that the keys to his treasures were taken by a large group.
He used to accumulate wealth. He was very proud of his wealth. He said that I got this wealth through my hard work. People explained to him that wealth is given to all the people of the world only by Allah Tabarak wa Taala. So spend your wealth in the way of Allah, but Qarun disobeyed anyone and continued to disobey Allah.
Then one day he came out in front of the people of the nation with great pride. Those who were seeking the world saw him and said, I wish we too had the wealth of Qarun, how fortunate it is, but those who feared Allah said, "Good." There is a better reward for people in the Hereafter.
When Qarun did not stop his disobedience, Allah Almighty buried him in the earth along with his wealth. No one could save him from divine punishment. Those who were aspiring to be like him started saying this after seeing the fate of Qarun.
"Thank God for saving us" If we had got as much wealth as Qarun and we had become rebellious and misguided, then Allah would have sunk us into the earth.
Dear children, we should never be greedy for anyone. We should not be down on what Allah has given us, but we should be grateful to Allah, and we should not treat anyone with contempt or inferiority.
